Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about functional wellness, testing, programs, and care.
Do you diagnose disease?
Our functional wellness program is designed to identify possible contributing factors, support wellness, and optimize body systems. We do not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease through this program.
Do I need labs?
Not always. Labs are recommended based on your symptoms, history, and goals. Some clients begin with foundational labs, while others may benefit from specialty testing.
Are specialty labs required?
No. Specialty labs are optional and personalized. We will discuss what may be helpful and what may not be necessary.
Are lab fees included?
No. Lab fees are separate unless otherwise stated.
Can you review labs I already have?
Yes. Prior lab review is part of many visits and programs.
Do you work with complex cases?
Yes, but serious or complex medical conditions may require collaboration with specialists such as dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, endocrinology, oncology, psychiatry, or primary care.
Do you treat cancer, autoimmune disease, or serious medical conditions?
We do not claim to treat or cure cancer, autoimmune disease, or serious medical conditions. We can support nutrition, inflammation, gut health, hormones, nutrient status, and wellness alongside appropriate medical care.
Can I still see my regular doctor?
Yes. Functional wellness can work alongside your existing medical care. We encourage appropriate primary and specialty care when needed.
How long does it take to feel better?
Every client is different. Some people notice improvement quickly when deficiencies or triggers are addressed. Others need a longer, step-by-step approach.
What if my labs are normal?
We look at patterns, not just whether a value falls inside a broad reference range. Normal labs do not always mean optimal function.
